We are seeking an experienced Country Manager for Canada, maintaining, growing, and managing the company’s presence across the top of North America. This role is cross-functional in nature, touching everything from eCommerce operations and performance marketing to local events and social media. The Country Manager, Canada, leads the company's market optimization and growth operations across Canada, acting as the company's representative and primary business driver in-market. This role is responsible for maximizing profitability, expanding brand awareness, and driving operational excellence across all channels in our established Canadian market. The Country Manager works cross-functionally with the company's global teams and local partners to deliver strong revenue growth, improved marketing efficiency, and exceptional customer experience across Canada. You'll work closely with both the EMEA hub and U.S. HQ counterparts to execute strategy and capitalize on existing momentum. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role perfect for someone who's organized, proactive, and ready to take an established market to the next level.

Orchestrating the "Hybrid" Supply Chain & Operations

  • Demand & Flow: Own the full logistical lifecycle from Factory to CARM (importation), through to the East & West 3PLs and fi nally the consumer
  • Precision Distribution: Manage inventory cadence based on population density, determining exactly what needs to sit in the East vs. West 3PLs to ensure rapid delivery
  • Operational Accountability: You are the "follow-through" expert who ensures products make it through customs and manages 3PL performance to maintain our lifetime durability promise
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee CARM logistics, inventory coordination, customer service oversight, and local market insights
  • Financial Stewardship: Maintain full P&L responsibility for the Canadian market, ensuring strong operational control, cost management, and delivery of ambitious fi nancial targets
  • Reporting & Analytics: Maintain key dashboards and provide weekly/monthly reporting on country performance (sales, engagement, traffi c, conversion, etc.)


Market Optimization, Growth & eCommerce Excellence

  • Platform Leadership: Maximize performance of the existing Canadian Shopify website and Amazon Canada, working closely with U.S.-based web and marketplace teams to optimize conversion and user experience
  • Performance Marketing: Drive and optimize performance marketing campaigns in partnership with EMEA and U.S. Growth teams and local agencies to improve customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, and marketing efficiency (MER)
  • Departmental Collaboration: Lead the charge with Growth, Retention, and Marketplace departments to ensure ad spend and listings are synchronized and aggressive
  • Content Initiatives: Coordinate with the U.S. Content team to adapt assets for Canadian audiences (English and French where applicable), ensuring culturally relevant messaging
  • Lifecycle Marketing: Partner with Sales departments to ensure Canadian customers are engaged through localized strategies that reflect our "Exceptional Taste"
  • Accountability: Deliver profitable growth and continuously improve marketing efficiency while capitalizing on Canada's established market position


Social Media, Community & Brand Influence

  • Social Media Management: Manage day-to-day content publishing on Canadian social media accounts, ensuring culturally relevant and engaging content that refl ects HexClad's premium positioning
  • Community Engagement: Monitor community engagement, respond to customer inquiries, and escalate key insights or issues to the CCO, International
  • Influencer Partnerships: Execute influencer partnerships and seeding campaigns under guidance from International Social Manager, focusing on Canadian lifestyle and culinary influencers
  • Ambassador Strategy: Advise on and approve regional social media ambassadors, working with the Global Social Media team to ensure proper exposure and alignment with our 1,000+ influencer network
  • Culinary Scouting: Identify Canadian "Kitchen Mavericks" to present as potential ambassadors to the founders and our Michelin-starred partners
  • Accountability: Safeguard a first-class customer and community experience across all touchpoints


PR, Events & Brand Activations

  • Strategic PR: Lead the regional charge for PR, high-end events, and local partnerships to showcase the company in lifestyle environments
  • Local Events: Plan and execute pop-ups, retail partnerships, and trade activations across key Canadian markets (Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Calgary)
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors, partners, and venues to ensure seamless execution and strong ROI
  • Performance Tracking: Track event KPIs and gather learnings to continuously improve activation strategy
  • Accountability: Deliver impactful, on-brand activations that strengthen awareness and contribute to profitable customer acquisition and retention


Cross-Functional Liaison & Strategic Advocacy

  • Internal Coordination: Work seamlessly with U.S.-based teams (Website, Growth, Content, Product, Finance) and external vendors/agencies to ensure local strategies align with global direction while addressing Canada-specific opportunities
  • Strategic Planning: Lead regular planning meetings, bringing local market context, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to inform strategy
  • Budget Management: Own the regional budget, utilizing "unapologetic innovation" to outpace the competition; manage and track spend across different functions, reporting through to Group Finance in HQ and CCO, International
  • Market Advocacy: Communicate and advocate for Canadian market needs within the organization, ensuring local strategies, product assortment decisions, and promotional plans support the company's long-term growth and profitability goals


Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in General Management, Marketing, eCommerce, brand, or operations
  • Experience in a high-growth DTC or consumer brand is a strong plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Hands-on experience with social media platforms, influencer campaigns, or events is a plus
  • Proactive and adaptable; thrives in a startup-like, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in local language(s) and English
  • Understanding of local market trends and customer behavior
