Position Overview
As the Country Manager for the United States, you will have full responsibility for the development and operational management of the company's business within the region. Your role extends beyond driving sales of core products (e.g., switches/EAP) in the enterprise market; you will define and execute the overall market entry and expansion strategy, establish localized operations, and lead efforts to achieve business objectives. You will serve as the company's primary representative in the US market, orchestrating sales, partnerships, market strategy, and local support to ensure sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute the comprehensive business strategy for the US market, including annual business plans, market penetration roadmaps, and revenue targets. Assume full accountability for business performance.
- Full Business Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of US operations, including sales, market access, partner management, and customer success, ensuring compliant and efficient business conduct.
- Key Account & Channel Development: Lead the acquisition and management of strategic enterprise accounts. Develop and nurture strong relationships with key industry suppliers, distributors, and potential channel partners.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the central interface for the US market, effectively coordinating with product, technical, support, and headquarters teams to deliver end-to-end customer solutions from design and validation to post-sales support.
- Market Intelligence & Decision Support: Continuously analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to provide forward-looking business insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a local team as business needs evolve, fostering talent and cultivating a high-performance business culture.
- Project & Process Leadership: Direct major opportunities, tenders (RFQ/RFP/RFI), and strategic partnership initiatives, ensuring their successful execution.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA is strongly preferred.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in the telecommunications, broadband networking, or wireless industry, including at least 3 years in a country management or general business leadership role with P&L responsibility.
- Industry Knowledge & Network:
- Deep understanding of the US enterprise networking market, with expertise in relevant product areas.
- Proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key players in the enterprise networking ecosystem.
- Experience working with Asian electronics ODM/OEM partners is a plus.
