Aureol Global Connections is an international staffing solutions provider delivering high volumes of skilled labour to key markets including Ireland, UK, and mainland Europe. We specialise in connecting global talent with employers across multiple industries, supporting end-to-end workforce solutions including recruitment, mobility, work permits and visas.


As part of our strategic expansion in Europe, we are strengthening our presence in Europe and looking to hire locally in the Netherlands. We are seeking a senior leader to establish, manage, and scale country-level operations. This would be a start up position, locally based in a new Country with the potential to grow a team and business based on successful client acquisition and development. 


The Country Manager will be responsible for establishing and driving client relationships, managing operational delivery, and building Aureol’s presence in the location. This role combines commercial and sales leadership with operational management.


The successful candidate will act as the key interface between clients, local authorities, and internal teams, ensuring efficient workforce delivery, compliance with visa and work permit requirements, and sustainable business growth.


Key Responsibilities

Client Solutions & Commercial Growth

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with clients across key sectors.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the country.
  • Act as the senior point of contact for key clients.

Regulatory & Authority Liaison

  • Liaise with local authorities, immigration bodies, and regulatory agencies to for visa and work permit approvals.
  • Monitor regulatory changes impacting international labour mobility.

Country Operations Leadership

  • Oversee end-to-end operational delivery including recruitment coordination, work permits, visas, mobilisations, POEA/POLO accreditation and residence visas.
  • Establish and optimise country-level processes, systems, and service standards.
  • Ensure projects are delivered efficiently and compliantly.

Team Building & Leadership

  • Build, lead, and develop a local team as the business scales.
  • Define organisational structure and performance frameworks.
  • Drive a high-performance, client-focused culture.

Strategy & Performance Management

  • Develop and execute a country growth strategy aligned with Aureol’s European expansion goals.
  • Track KPIs across client delivery, operational performance, and revenue growth.
  • Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to senior leadership.

 

Candidate Profile

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in staffing, recruitment, workforce solutions, or related industries.
  • Experience managing client relationships and operational delivery in a high-volume environment.
  • Familiarity with visa, work permit, or regulatory processes (or strong ability to navigate them).
  • Experience working with government or regulatory bodies.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to build and manage teams.
