Short Summary about Job:
HukariAscendent is seeking a Cost Estimator to a national laboratory. In this role, you will prepare and develop complex, multi-disciplined cost estimates for a Cleanup Project. You will work closely with engineering, maintenance, operations, environmental, and construction teams to deliver well-documented estimates aligned with DOE project requirements. This is a full-time, on-site position working a 4x10 schedule.
Required Qualifications
Experience performing construction quantity takeoffs from engineering drawings and sketches
Demonstrated ability to prepare complex, multi-disciplined, and well-documented cost estimates
Strong verbal, written, and computer communication skills
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, environmental, construction)
Self-starter capable of identifying and resolving issues independently
Must be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Qualifications
Prior estimating experience within the DOE complex
Experience with DOE Capital Asset Projects (413.3B)
Experience with PCRS and/or Primavera P6 scheduling software
Familiarity with ICP Planning & Controls procedures (MCP-1408)
