Role Description
A Corporate Finance Manager oversees the financial strategy and performance of the organization, focusing on long-term financial planning, capital management, and investment decisions. This role ensures effective financial governance and supports strategic business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute corporate finance strategies to support business objectives
- Prepare and analyze financial forecasts, budgets, and performance reports
- Manage capital structure, funding, and investment activities
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
- Monitor and manage financial risks, including liquidity and credit risks
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
- Lead, mentor, and manage finance team members
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or Master’s preferred
- 5–10 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning, or investment management
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and corporate finance principles
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Oracle, Hyperion)
- Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Preferred:
- Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA
- Experience in mergers & acquisitions (M&A), fundraising, or capital markets
- Experience in multinational corporations or large-scale projects
