Convene is seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Development Manager specializing in ESG business solutions to expand our presence in the EU region. This role will be pivotal in driving our sustainability initiatives and helping clients navigate the complexities of ESG compliance and reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing strategic partnerships and new business opportunities within the ESG space, enhancing our product offerings, and ensuring that Convene remains a leader in providing innovative solutions that meet the growing demand for ESG transparency and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for ESG business development in the EU region
  • Identify and establish partnerships with key organizations and stakeholders in the ESG ecosystem
  • Lead efforts to understand client needs and customize Convene's offerings accordingly
  • Engage with C-suite executives and sustainability leaders to promote our ESG solutions
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG principles into Convene's product development roadmap
  • Monitor regulatory developments and evolving industry standards in the ESG domain


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate development or business development focused on ESG initiatives in the EU region
  • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, reporting standards, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent networking skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Proven track record of achieving business development targets and driving revenue growth
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel as required within the EU region
