Job Title: Coordinator, Events & NFL Club Engagement

Reports To: Senior Manager of Events & NFL Club Engagement

Location: Remote

Classification: Non-Exempt

This position plays a key role in supporting NFL Club partnerships and advancing USA Football’s grassroots initiatives, including youth tackle and flag programs and Girls Initiatives. In addition, the role is responsible for the planning and execution of athlete and team service and engagement across USA Football’s broader portfolio of events and programs, including National Team Flag and Tackle (adult and junior), domestic and international tournaments and championships, and development programming.

The position serves as the day-to-day contact for event participants and supports the Senior Manager of Events & Program Engagement in cultivating and maintaining relationships with NFL Clubs and other key stakeholders. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, including athletes, coaches, and NFL club representatives

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Manager in cultivating and maintaining relationships with all 32 NFL Clubs and key stakeholders
  • Assist in tracking NFL Club engagements and maintain detailed records of communications and touchpoints
  • Coordinate communication with NFL Club representatives regarding USA Football events, programs, and partnership opportunities
  • Coordinate logistics for NFL Club involvement in USA Football initiatives, including appearances, activations, and program participation
  • Prepare materials, presentations, and reports for NFL Club and partner meetings
  • Serve as a point of contact for NFL Club representatives on operational matters related to events and programs
  • Support USA Football grassroots programming and initiatives, including youth tackle and flag programs and Girls Initiatives, through coordination, communication, and logistics execution
  • Support the planning and execution of athlete, team, and coach experiences across USA Football events and programs, including National Teams, development programming, and domestic/international tournaments
  • Coordinate customer experience elements such as registration, athlete and team schedules, coach communications, and event logistics
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for event personnel and participants as needed
  • Provide on-site event execution and operational support
  • Work collaboratively across USA Football departments—marketing, communications, digital, high performance, and business development—to deliver seamless and high-quality program and event experiences
  • Support the Manager and Senior Manager in project management activities, deadline tracking, and internal coordination
  • Contribute to department-wide best practices that continually improve the quality and consistency of USA Football events
  • Additional duties as assigned


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-2 years experience with a sports team, athletic department, or event operations
  • 1 year experience with customer service; athlete service or stakeholder relations experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Microsoft Office experience (including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • Detail-oriented and organized; ability to multi-task and solve problems proactively
  • Demonstrated teamwork and strong work ethic
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
  • Experience or interest in relationship management and partner engagement preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of youth sports, the role of NGBs, and USA Football's mission and function
  • Ability to travel frequently for extended periods of time with heavy travel in Spring and Summer. Estimated travel is 30-40% of year


Work Environment

This job primarily operates in a remote office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones

Physical Demands

Requires the ability to sit for more than four hours per day, reading, listening, stooping, bending, and manual dexterity. Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time remote position. This position requires standard work hours and some weekend work.
