The Role
We're looking for a creator-first marketer who lives and breathes content. You'll be the tip of the spear for our top-of-funnel awareness strategy and product education, turning long-form podcasts, webinars, and thought leadership content into scroll-stopping clips that drive massive reach on YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram.
You'll own the entire content creation process: editing, repurposing, designing thumbnails, writing hooks, and building our presence on emerging channels. You’ll also oversee how we drive product education and awareness through our YouTube and social channels.
You'll work directly with our CEO, VP of Product & Marketing, and others on thought leadership content, alongside a team of published authors, video producers, book designers, and more to bring your ideas to life.

What You'll Do
Content Creation & Repurposing
- Edit and repurpose long-form podcasts, webinars, and video content into high-performing short-form clips for YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Instagram
- Create compelling video and audio edits that capture attention in the first 3 seconds and drive watch time
- Design eye-catching thumbnails and graphics that maximize click-through rates
- Write engaging captions, descriptions, and hooks that drive engagement and align with platform best practices
- Own and grow KnowHow's YouTube channel, optimizing for watch time and subscriber growth
- Execute social media strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok—building Instagram and TikTok from scratch
- Drive awareness of KnowHow's podcasts, webinars, e-books, reports, and other content assets
- Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes and content trends to maximize reach among the right audience
- Collaborate with the CEO and VP of Product & Marketing to amplify thought leadership content
- Build authority and credibility for KnowHow and our leadership team across key platforms
- Identify opportunities to engage with our target ICP (Operations VPs, CTOs at franchise networks) on LinkedIn
- Develop and test content formats, hooks, and strategies to improve engagement metrics
- Analyze performance data and iterate quickly based on what's working
- Eventually produce original podcast and video content as the content engine scales

Thought Leadership Momentum:
- Watch Time & Completion Rate: Critical video & podcast performance metrics
- Social Media Engagement Rate: Shares, comments, and interaction from target accounts on social content
- Industry Content Crossovers: Speaking invitations, podcast interview requests, or partnership inquiries generated from content
- Audience Quality: LinkedIn follower growth among target customers
- Earned Media Signals: Shares/mentions by influencers or industry publications
- Clickthrough Rate: Traffic from video/social to owned assets
- MAL Generation: Newsletter signups, e-book downloads, and asset conversions
- Content-Influenced Pipeline: Deals where prospects consumed 2+ pieces of content before a sales conversation
- Active Nurture List Growth: # of contacts in nurture sequences
- Content Cadence: Reliable weekly output of short-form clips across priority channels
- Time-to-Market: Speed from long-form recording to first clips published
- Performance Learning and Iteration: Ongoing testing, measuring, and reporting on content performance to drive continuous improvement
Must-Haves
- A creator at heart: You make content in your free time. You have a portfolio that proves you can create engaging video content that people actually want to watch
- Hands-on video editor: Proficient in video editing tools like Descript, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or equivalent
- Audio editing skills: Comfortable editing audio in Descript, Adobe Audition, or similar tools
- Platform-native: You understand what works on YouTube vs. LinkedIn vs. TikTok vs. Instagram—and you know how to adapt content for each
- Self-starter mentality: You hustle. You don't wait to be told what to do. You see opportunities, and you execute
- Data-informed: You track performance, learn from it, and iterate quickly
- Strong writer: You can write compelling hooks, descriptions, and captions that drive clicks and engagement
- Graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop) for creating thumbnails and social graphics
- Experience growing social channels from 0 to 1
- B2B or SaaS content experience
- Experience working with thought leaders or executive content
