Atlete Elite is a sports media startup that works directly with professional padel athletes. We build long-term athlete brands and showcase athlete content through a newly designed, fan-first sports platform.
The job 💼
We’re looking for a junior content editor (preferably based in Madrid) to turn athletes' raw day-to-day footage into consistent, professional short-form content.
You don’t need a creator background or formal editing experience – this role is ideal for someone early in their editing journey who wants to learn through real, hands-on production work.
While the core work is consistent and repeatable, you’ll gain direct exposure to how a company is built, take ownership early beyond a typical junior role, and help shape how the content team operates as it scales.
What the role is NOT ❌
This role does not involve filming or appearing on camera. You won’t be creating your own footage, working with heavy effects, or producing cinematic or long-form edits.
What the role is ✅
1 Video & Photo editing
- Editing multiple short-form videos per day for different athletes, focusing on clean, consistent, lightweight edits
- Working with real, raw athlete footage and handling it with professionalism
- Creating polished magazine-style sport visuals and photo edits
- Working within defined formats and brand guidelines while improving quality over time
- Editing primarily using Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop (or similar tools)
2 Process & Standards
- Help shape and refine editing workflows, templates, file organisation, and quality standards for future editors
- Support the management of the Atlete Elite Instagram page using athlete content

Practical details:
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English
- Start date: Immediate (early March)

- Regular in-person meetups with the founder in Madrid
This is an early-stage role with junior-level compensation to start, with scope to grow alongside the company as funding milestones are reached.
