School First seeks a content and community lead for our education consulting firm. Responsibilities include developing creative and implementing social media campaigns that amplify our services with schools and families looking for the right educational experience. This role involves not only creating and curating content, it requires developing a strategy, storytelling and delivering the story across School First social media channels, blogs and monthly newsletters while measuring and reporting the effectiveness of campaigns.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive content and community campaign strategy that is aligned with School First’s overall go-to-market plan and goals. This includes amplifying the School First brand with our desired target audiences, developing creative and content that drives leads and measuring the performance of the campaigns across School First owned, earned and paid media channels.
- Manage and optimize campaigns that drive the highest level of awareness, education and consideration with the School First target audience across LinkedIn and Meta (Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram).
- Work with agency partner(s) to develop paid media test & learn plans that align with the School First campaign strategy and full funnel performance outcomes.
- Track, analyze, and report monthly and quarterly campaign performance using data and analytics platforms like Google Analytics. On a monthly basis demonstrate the ability to analyze, identify areas for improvement and optimize campaign strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and adapt strategies accordingly.
Content Creation and Community Curation:
- Create and make content, building campaigns and communities that align with a defined desired target audience, strategy and go-to-market plan within the educational services industry.
- Build a system and process for creative development, review and distributing content that amplifies brands and builds communities.
- In support of the School First go-to-market strategy and plan, develop content and build community across School First owned, earned and paid media channels. (i.e. blog posts, social media and newsletter).
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond promptly and professionally to inquiries, feedback, and concerns. Actively participate in relevant online conversations, build and expand on existing relationships with the School First community and target audience.
- Plan, execute, and manage social media campaigns that amplify, educate and drive leads with our core target audience.
- Work closely with our team, including marketing, content, and design teams, to ensure consistent messaging and brand identity across all channels.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven ability to develop innovative and engaging campaigns and content across earned, owned and paid media channels.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing social media strategies, managing social media accounts, and analyzing performance data.
- Excellent writing, editing, and content creation skills, with the ability to produce engaging and informative content.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in using data, analytics and measurements tools while interpreting the data to present and make informed decisions.
- Ability to develop innovative and engaging campaigns and content across earned, owned and paid media channels.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of the education landscape and the specific needs and challenges of educators, students, and parents.
A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
