Join a mission-driven leader in managed care as a Compliance Specialist. In this role, you will ensure total alignment with federal and state government regulations and contractual reporting requirements. You will serve as a vital liaison between digital experience teams and regulatory bodies, maintaining the integrity of our government relations and compliance activities.
Position: Compliance Specialist
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for extension or conversion to permanent)
Location: 100% Remote
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week (Flexible start time between 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM)
The Team & Culture
You will join our newly established Digital Content Management Team, a dedicated group of 11 professionals within the broader Design and Digital Experience (DXE) organization. We are a fully remote, highly collaborative team defined by mutual respect. Our team facilitates regulatory approvals for digital materials, manages public site content, and executes Medicare bulk SMS and email campaigns. As this is a newer function within the organization, you will have the unique opportunity to help build and refine our processes from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between Digital Experience (DXE) teams and Medicare/Medicaid Regulatory bodies.
- Submission Management: Facilitate the submission of digital experiences—including public websites, secure portals, and mobile app content—for formal regulatory approval.
- Project Coordination: Monitor submission statuses and collaborate cross-functionally with Program and Project Managers to address and resolve regulatory feedback.
- Policy Development: Develop and update plan policies and procedures to ensure continuous compliance with evolving state and federal requirements.
- Audit & Assessment: Conduct periodic assessments and audits to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all regulatory submissions.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices to serve as a day-to-day resource for the team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in compliance or regulatory affairs.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience or knowledge of business operations within Managed Care is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Communication: Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to translate complex regulatory feedback into actionable project requirements.
