🌟 About the OpportunityWe’re looking for a detail-oriented and ethical Compliance Officer to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that the organization operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, while promoting a strong culture of compliance in a fully remote environment.
🎯 What You’ll Do- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures
- Ensure adherence to Swedish regulations and relevant industry standards
- Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits
- Provide guidance to internal teams on regulatory requirements
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations and assess impact on the business
- Investigate compliance issues and recommend corrective actions
- Deliver training and awareness programs on compliance topics
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation and reporting
- Regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
- Risk management and internal controls
- Policy development and audit processes
- Compliance tracking and reporting tools (experience is a plus)
- 3–8+ years of experience in compliance, risk, legal, or related roles
- Strong knowledge of Swedish regulatory requirements
- Experience in conducting audits and risk assessments
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA, or similar) are a plus
