Social Media Community Manager

Hours: Weekdays, 9-5PM ET

Hours & Location: - Weekdays + Eastern Time Zone (Mon-Fri), Remote

$800 per day - $80 per hour


Overall Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for helping grow my clients community by monitoring conversation & engaging with UGC & comments across YouTube, TikTok, X and Instagram/Threads.


Top Daily Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing Community Management & Moderation: Identify, vet and respond to community questions, comments, brand love and related opportunities on posts and in DMs within 24 hours; monitor for spam and negativity
  • Off-Channel Engagement: Implement audience engagement strategy, vetting guidelines and best practices through brand engagement with earned conversation
  • Community Extensions: Propose opportunities to foster more community interaction on content, such as pinned comments, polls, and interactive Stories, and amplify UGC & community trends (i.e. reseshares & stitches)
  • Community Advocacy & Feedback: Be the voice of the community to stakeholders, sharing community sentiment updates & providing insights for reactive content briefs
  • Cross-Functional Partnership & Approvals: Collaborate with internal teams and with agency partners to develop & execute community approaches, guidelines and canned responses for product & feature launches, events and campaigns and seek approvals as needed
  • Community Strategy Stewardship: Help maintain my clients audience engagement strategy & guidelines, in alignment with brand standards, social strategies and cross-functional guidance
  • CM Tracking: Support community management tracking, tagging and reporting

Required Skills:

  • 5-8 years of experience in community engagement; social media/channel management experience a plus
  • Experience at large consumer brands, ideally tech experience and/or interest in AI
  • Deep understanding of internet culture and norms across social platforms
  • Pulse on social conversation & can quickly learn our community
  • Ability to vet & assess content, creators and trends, with sound judgement on when & how to action
  • Collaborative and able to work well x-functionally
  • Detail oriented & highly organized
  • Experience with Sprinklr and native publishing to social media platforms
