A global media and events leader in the iGaming space is searching for a Community Manager to build a brand‑new community ecosystem from the ground up. You’ll be the connector, the catalyst, the social heartbeat of a fast‑growing brand.
What You’ll Own
Build the Community
- Launch a unified community online platform (Discord)
- Bring together existing WhatsApp/Telegram groups into one thriving hub
- Own moderation, onboarding, and the daily member experience
Create Engagement That Feels Human
- Spark conversations naturally — not because you “have to,” but because you love talking to people
- Understand member behaviour, habits, and what makes people open up
- Run AMAs, polls, discussions, and creative programming that feels alive
- Drive buzz before, during, and after major industry events
Be the Social Glue Offline
- Long term will be to Support small meetups, run clubs, and social gatherings (especially in Malta)
- Connect people to each other in ways that feel organic and meaningful
- Help turn flagship events into year‑round community touchpoints
Collaborate Across the Business
- Work with Marketing to grow the community
- Partner with Events to integrate community moments into conferences
- Team up with Media to share news, podcasts, and content that fuels discussion
Make It Better Every Day
- Track engagement metrics and member sentiment
- Gather feedback and roll out new features and formats
- Help build scalable community playbooks
What You Bring
- 2–4+ years in community management (online groups, networks, events)
- A natural people‑person — someone who reads the room, starts conversations, and makes others feel welcome
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Experience with platforms like Discord, Heartbeat, Telegram, etc.
- Organised, process‑driven, and confident with moderation
- A genuine commitment to trust, safety, and member wellbeing
Bonus Points
- Experience in B2B or iGaming / Tech
- CRM knowledge (HubSpot)
- Comfortable hosting live sessions or on‑stage moments
- Understanding of SEO and digital content distribution
- Experience with sponsored activations or partnerships
