Overview
We seek a creative Communications & Social Media Intern to join our international Marketing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media, marketing & communications within a dynamic Silicon Valley technology environment. As a Social Media Intern, you will collaborate with our marketing team to develop and implement organic outreach campaigns and to boost social media brand engagement and awareness.
Responsibilities
- Monitor social media and news for relevant industry trends (Web3, IoT, AI & Digital Energy) to craft communication strategies and news-jacking opportunities
- Take complete ownership of the creation and scheduling of content across various social media & communication channels
- Maintain social calendar, align with company activities, and proactively schedule posts as needed
- Monitor social media channels and engage in a timely and professional manner.
- Research and suggest trending topics and hashtags to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Brainstorm & implement innovative content ideas and marketing strategies to increase our digital footprint
- Develop graphics and creative content distribution strategies
- Utilize analytics & performance to measure campaign success and optimize future marketing efforts
- Work closely across teams to support and promote concurrent marketing initiatives
- Represent Intertrust at industry events and participate in meetings, workshops, events, and exhibitions - supporting communications
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Strong & creative communication & writing skills
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and an interest in digital marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms & digital marketing strategies
- Experience with creative content creation is a plus, including graphic design and video editing
- Knowledge of design software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
