This role will be high-impact — it owns global commodity strategy for key electrical/electro-mechanical categories, drives supplier partnerships, leads contract negotiations, and plays a big part in early supplier involvement for NPD. It’s a mix of strategy, technology introduction, supplier performance management, and long-term agreement ownership. The team is big on innovation, cost-out programs, and supplier engagement that actually moves the needle.
Skills and Experience desired:
- Complex contract negotiation and supplier agreement management
- Sourcing for motors, PCBA, wire/cable assemblies, controls, or similar electrical commodities
- Delivering year-over-year cost savings + supplier-led innovation
- Building strong supplier partnerships across NPD and long-term roadmaps
- Can be a fully remote role with travel required to offices in Milwaukee area, as well as some international travel for supplier visits
