This role offers an exciting opportunity to strengthen cloud security for enterprise environments by improving detection, modeling, and prioritization of cloud risks. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to translate complex cloud signals into actionable, customer-ready insights. The position requires a security-first mindset, combining analytical rigor with practical judgment to enhance product reliability and impact. You will leverage AI, telemetry, and cloud-native tools to refine detections, enrich logic, and optimize signal correlation. This role allows you to influence product strategy while maintaining hands-on involvement with cloud platforms and security research. Collaboration, innovation, and clear communication are essential to delivering high-value security solutions in a dynamic, B2B-focused environment.

Accountabilities

  • Design and enhance cloud security detections, enrichment logic, and prioritization frameworks.
  • Correlate multiple cloud signals—such as configurations, identities, assets, activity telemetry, and resource relationships—to improve accuracy and reduce noise.
  • Validate and refine severity scoring and prioritization to ensure consistency, explainability, and alignment with real risk.
  • Gather insights from competitor analysis and customer feedback to inform product improvements with measurable business impact.
  • Leverage AI and internal automation tools to accelerate development, review outputs, and turn prototypes into robust implementations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to communicate requirements, trade-offs, release notes, and customer-facing rationales.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP also valid).
  • Ability to translate security challenges and customer needs into high-value product work, balancing impact and effort.
  • Effective communication skills to explain security decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid engineering literacy, including the ability to read and review code and reason about reliability and edge cases.
  • Preferred: experience with CSPM/CNAPP tools, building detection or analytics pipelines, cloud telemetry/log sources, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
