The Role
As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll be part of the core team building Dawnguard’s platform. You’ll work on cloud infrastructure and automation, contributing to the secure-by-design architecture that powers our product.
You’ll collaborate with founding engineers, product designers, and security experts to:
- Design and maintain cloud environments across AWS and Azure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
- Implement and manage IAM policies, SSO, and device management platforms
- Optimize system performance and ensure compliance.
- Manage MS E5, Defender for Cloud, etc.
- Build and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for Dawnguard’s platform.
- Automate deployment and configuration workflows using IaC tools.
- Implement and maintain IAM policies, SSO, and zero-trust security models.
- Monitor system health, performance, and security posture.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate security into every layer of the architecture.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, IT operations, or DevOps
- Strong expertise in AWS and Azure
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.)
- Experience with endpoint management and MS security products (Intune, Purview, and Sentinel etc.)
- Familiarity with SSO, VPNs, MDM, and zero-trust security models
- Bonus: Experience in remote-first environments or startups.
