Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Developer with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), strong development experience in modern programming languages, and hands-on knowledge of managing and customizing Atlassian tools within cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud applications while ensuring seamless integration and performance optimization of Atlassian development platforms.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Developer with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), strong development experience in modern programming languages, and hands-on knowledge of managing and customizing Atlassian tools within cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud applications while ensuring seamless integration and performance optimization of Atlassian development platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, and API Gateway.
- Develop and maintain automated infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation.
- Configure, integrate, and manage Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) on AWS, including system optimization and performance tuning.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in Java, Python, or Node.js, applying object-oriented design and development best practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and project teams to support software releases and ensure alignment with development standards and cloud security best practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and availability in AWS environments.
- Stay current with AWS innovations and best practices, recommending and implementing new cloud technologies to improve system performance and scalability.
- 7+ years of experience in cloud development and deployment on AWS.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in key AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, and API Gateway.
- 2+ years of experience configuring and maintaining Atlassian infrastructure (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) hosted on AWS.
- Strong software development background with proficiency in Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, secure coding, and scalable architecture principles.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Solutions Architect).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Active Secret Clearance.
