The Client Success Manager will act as a strategic advisor, building strong executive relationships while overseeing a team responsible for delivering exceptional client outcomes. The position requires expertise in revenue cycle management, denials recovery, and operational performance. You will drive KPIs, monitor ROI, and collaborate across internal teams to ensure consistent, high-quality results. The position combines client engagement, operational oversight, and team leadership to maximize client satisfaction and business success.

Accountabilities

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with Revenue Cycle and Finance leaders, including CFOs and Denials leadership.
  • Serve as senior escalation point for client performance, operational, or contractual matters.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) focusing on recovered revenue, overturn rates, inventory throughput, payer trends, and ROI.
  • Monitor and drive KPIs including recovered revenue, aging, inventory velocity, and payer performance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and Insights teams to ensure accurate reporting and consistent client outcomes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of client-facing professionals to deliver superior results.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions that optimize revenue cycle processes and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, denials management, or revenue recovery.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, preferably managing client-facing teams.
  • Deep knowledge of high-dollar denials including DRG validation, medical necessity, clinical denials, coding, authorization, and payer policy.
  • Proven ability to communicate financial performance and defend results with healthcare executives.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience presenting complex data clearly and effectively.
  • Experience managing performance-based or contingency contracts.
  • Excellent executive presence, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-centric environment while driving results.
  • Proficiency with relevant software, reporting tools, and CRM systems.
