Position: Civil Engineering Technologist and Technician
Type: Hourly contract (AI Model Training / Civil Design)
Compensation: $60–$100/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Apply civil engineering design and technical expertise to annotate, review, and validate AI training data.
- Collaborate with AI specialists to communicate core civil engineering concepts for model development.
- Translate complex engineering workflows into structured datasets for algorithmic use.
- Provide guidance on civil drafting standards, design methodologies, and construction documentation.
- Review and edit technical materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and relevance for AI training.
- Communicate findings and feedback through clear written reports and virtual meetings.
- Stay current with industry trends to continuously improve AI model effectiveness.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Professional experience in civil design, drafting, or construction documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD and civil design software.
- Ability to distill complex engineering concepts into clear, structured information.
- Strong organizational and self-management skills in a remote environment.
