Founding CTO / Technical Co-Founder

Build a data-driven platform to reshape how athletic talent is developed

I’m building a data-driven platform to track and develop athletic talent over time, giving coaches, clubs, and development environments better decision support around training load, progression, and biological development.

This is a problem I’ve worked with firsthand for years. Despite high ambitions, talent development in many environments is still fragmented, short-term, and dependent on subjective judgment. The result is suboptimal development, misaligned training, and, in many cases, preventable injuries.

The goal is to change that, starting in Sweden, with a clear ambition to scale internationally.

What we’re building (first 6–12 months)

The company is currently in the pre-MVP stage. The initial focus is to build a first version of the platform for coaches, clubs, and development environments that need:

  • a better way to track individual development over time
  • structured, usable data around training and progression
  • reduced administrative burden in monitoring and follow-up

The core of the product is data modeling, structure, and decision support — not just visualization.

The role. I’m looking for a Founding CTO / Technical Co-Founder who wants to take full ownership of the technical side from day one.

This is not a traditional tech role. It’s a co-founder role for someone who wants to:

  • build something from the ground up
  • make product-near technical decisions
  • define architecture, direction, and standards from the start
  • shape both the company and the product

Technical responsibilities (initial focus)

The initial focus is on establishing the right technical foundation:

  • system architecture
  • backend development
  • data modeling
  • API design

Experience with scaling, security, and infrastructure is valuable, but comes later. The priority now is building the right core for the product.

Who I’m looking for

You’re a strong developer with the ability to think in systems, not just code.

You:

  • have built products or complex systems before
  • are comfortable making technical decisions with limited information
  • can move fast without compromising quality
  • want to take ownership, responsibility, and risk in an early-stage company

A genuine interest in sports, training, or performance environments is a strong plus, not because it’s required, but because it influences how we build.

About me

I come from elite sports and high-performance training, with a background as a national team athlete and strength & conditioning coach at a high level. Today, I work closely with development environments in sports such as football, hockey, and basketball. This gives me direct access to users, real environments, and real problems to build against, not hypothetical use cases.

Structure

This is a co-founder role in an early-stage company:

  • equity included
  • no salary initially
  • structure shaped together based on the right fit

The ambition is to build a company that establishes itself in Sweden and then scales internationally.
