Storm3 is partnering with a fast-scaling, tech-enabled primary care organization built to serve historically underserved communities. This company combines local, community-based care teams with virtual care and modern technology to deliver whole-person primary care, behavioral health, and social care — operating within complex Medicaid and dual-eligible populations. Backed by leading healthcare investors and expanding rapidly across markets, they are now hiring a Chief Operating Officer to build the operating system that takes them to the next level.
This is a C-suite, direct CEO report for an operator who has done this before — someone who can turn high-growth ambiguity into structured, scalable execution across multiple markets.
What You'll Need
- 15+ years in operations, general management, or business operations within healthcare delivery or complex regulated environments
- Proven track record scaling operations in high-growth organizations where systems were still being built
- Experience overseeing large, distributed frontline workforces across multiple markets or regions
- Strong systems thinker — ability to diagnose root causes across organizational boundaries and build mechanisms that improve execution reliability
- Experience building operating cadence, performance reviews, metrics frameworks, and escalation systems
- Ability to lead cross-functional environments where clinical teams, operational staff, and regional leadership must operate in close coordination
- Excellent executive communication skills — comfortable with boards and external stakeholders
- Comfort operating in ambiguity while building a structure that gives teams clarity
What You'll Own
- Build the company-wide operating system — the infrastructure that allows strong teams to execute consistently without relying on constant escalation
- Design and implement the operating rhythm — performance reviews, planning cycles, cross-functional coordination mechanisms
- Build the reporting and visibility infrastructure so leadership understands performance and emerging risks in real time
- Prepare the organization for continued geographic expansion — larger patient panels, new markets, more complex payer relationships
