Commercial-Stage Biotech Near Launch
We are partnering with a commercial-stage biotech on the verge of U.S. approval for its first product, focused on rare and specialty therapies. This is an incredibly exciting moment — the company is months away from launch, and the right COO will ensure operational excellence across all functions to make the product a success.
This is a hands-on role in a small biotech environment ... you will directly influence CMC, supply chain, quality, IT, and patient operations, ensuring the product is fully ready for commercial launch.
As COO, you will:
- Own operational execution to get the product launch-ready
- Lead CMC, manufacturing, and technical operations
- Ensure supply chain, distribution, and product availability
- Manage quality, compliance, and regulatory readiness
- Coordinate IT, digital systems, and operational infrastructure
- Support patient advocacy, medical affairs, and clinical operations
- Lead a small, high-performing operations team
- Stay hands-on, enabling the CCO to focus on the commercial strategy
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experienced in small or early-stage biotech operations
- Hands-on operational leader who thrives in resource-limited environments
- Strong background in CMC, technical operations, supply chain, and quality
- Familiar with commercial or near-commercial product readiness
- Previous experience with rare disease, specialty therapy, or first-to-market launches preferred
- Enjoys backstage operational work, keeping multiple functions coordinated and on track
