We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help scale operations, build institutional infrastructure, and drive operational excellence across the organization.

Role Overview

The Chief Operating Officer will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to oversee the company’s day-to-day operations, operational strategy, and global expansion initiatives. This role requires deep experience in financial markets, digital asset infrastructure, and high-growth startup environments.

The COO will be responsible for building scalable operational frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing internal processes, and supporting the firm’s rapid growth across trading, technology, and investment operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the company’s global operational strategy and execution

• Build and manage operational infrastructure for digital asset trading, custody, liquidity management, and settlement

• Establish scalable internal processes across trading operations, finance, compliance, and risk management

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including quant research, engineering, trading, and finance

• Develop institutional-grade operational frameworks and reporting systems

• Oversee vendor relationships including exchanges, custodians, liquidity providers, and banking partners

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions

• Support capital allocation strategies and operational efficiency across investment activities

• Drive organizational scalability, internal governance, and operational risk controls

• Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic initiatives, fundraising, and global expansion

Required Qualifications

• 8–15+ years of experience in financial services, digital assets, fintech, or quantitative trading firms

• Prior leadership experience in operations, strategy, or business management roles

• Strong understanding of digital asset markets, trading infrastructure, and crypto ecosystem

• Proven experience scaling operational processes in high-growth startups or investment firms

• Deep knowledge of operational risk, compliance, and financial infrastructure

• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, global, remote-first environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in crypto hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, or quantitative asset management

• Familiarity with DeFi, on-chain infrastructure, and digital asset custody solutions

• Experience working with institutional investors or venture-backed startups

• MBA, CFA, or advanced degree in finance, economics, or related field
