A rapidly scaling, founder-led law firm with a national footprint and growing international presence. With strong KPI visibility and disciplined performance management already in place, the firm is entering its next phase of expansion—including global workforce integration and strategic acquisition growth—and is seeking a senior executive to strengthen enterprise alignment, operational scalability, and execution at scale.  


The Opportunity

This Chief Operating Officer role is designed for a seasoned operator who wants to shape the operating backbone of a rapidly scaling firm. Reporting to the Founders and working alongside the executive leadership team, the COO will drive operational excellence across a multi-department organization expanding domestically and internationally.

You are someone who:

  • Brings 10+ years of executive operational leadership experience in large organizations
  • Has successfully led or integrated 150+ person, multi-location or global teams
  • Is fluent in KPI architecture, dashboards, and enterprise-level performance management
  • Has strong P&L literacy and can translate financial insights into operational adjustments
  • Has led change management initiatives during rapid growth or acquisitions
  • Is experienced with mergers and post-acquisition integration planning


Job Responsibilities

Supporting the Executive Leadership Team

  • Serve as cross-functional integrator across Operations, Revenue, Technology, and HR
  •  Clarify ownership structures, decision rights, and executive accountability
  • Strengthen succession planning, leadership development, and performance management systems

Systems and Project Management

  • Architect and maintain the firm’s unified operating model
  •  Own enterprise KPI dashboards, reporting cadence, and operational discipline
  •  Standardize meeting rhythms, SOP libraries, and execution frameworks
  •  Partner with technology leadership on enterprise system transitions and integrations

Organizational and People Leadership

  • Embed KPIs into compensation, review, and accountability structures
  •  Design leveling frameworks, onboarding systems, and leadership growth pathways
  •  Oversee global team integration and large-scale hiring strategy
  •  Lead structured change management and cultural alignment initiatives

Strategic Initiatives and Expansion

  • Partner with Founders on strategic planning and growth roadmap
  • Lead operational diligence and integration for acquisitions
  •  Evaluate expansion opportunities through operational feasibility analysis
  •  Build scalable infrastructure to support international and practice expansion


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years in executive operational leadership (COO or integrator roles)
  •  Experience leading 150+ person organizations
  •  Proven experience scaling multi-location or global teams


Logistics and Compensation

  • Location: In-office, Orlando, FL
  •  Work environment: 5 days per week in office
  •  Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (flexibility required)
  •  Expected Start date: April 15, 2026
  •  Salary: $300,000 base plus performance-based incentive
  •  Relocation: Relocation package available for qualified candidates
