They are now looking to hire a Chief of Staff to partner closely with the CEO during the next phase of scale.


Job Description

Our client is seeking a Chief of Staff to the CEO who will operate as a true extension of the CEO and executive team. This is a highly visible, hands-on role focused on execution, prioritisation and driving institutional change across the organisation.


The Chief of Staff will work across strategy, operations and communications, acting as the connective tissue between leadership, teams and key stakeholders. This is a role for a proven doer with strong analytical capability, high emotional intelligence and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.


This position is well suited to someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex problems and wants broad exposure to company-wide initiatives at a senior level.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted partner to the CEO, helping drive priorities forward and unblock critical initiatives
  • Lead and execute cross-functional strategic projects on behalf of the CEO and executive team
  • Support company-wide strategic planning, goal setting and operational cadence
  • Ensure alignment and accountability across leadership and teams on key objectives
  • Prepare and support internal and external communications including executive and board materials
  • Serve as a point of integration between departments to maintain momentum on top priorities
  • Step in where needed to support or stabilise initiatives that require additional leadership or execution


Requirements

  • ~7-15 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong analytical background with experience in consulting, financial services, startups or similarly fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrated track record as a hands-on operator who gets things done
  • Extremely high EQ with the ability to build trust and influence across diverse teams
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity with sound judgement and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Background in insurance is not required
