CFO - The Netherlands (Hybrid/Remote options considered)
Our client is a PE-backed, international IT & Professional Services business that is seeking a CFO following successful institutional investment from a leading growth buy-out Fund.
As a result of the company’s significant growth, the business is now looking to appoint a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This role will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will sit on the company’s board. This hire will be a key member of the Executive leadership team.
The CFO will be tasked with scaling and developing a ‘best in class’ team and function to meet the considerable growth and strategic ambitions of the business over the coming years.
Key Responsibilities:
Ownership for planning and scaling the Finance function to meet the ambitious growth plans of the business.
Financial Management and Control
- Present finance and operational analysis at each Board meeting, supporting the CEO to deliver timely and accurate updates on all key areas of the business.
- Maintain detailed oversight of cash position, and provide cashflow reporting, treasury considerations and working capital analyses to the Executive Board.
- Create and maintain relationships with service providers including banking institutions and auditors.
- Budgets: define the Group’s yearly budget orientations, review and report on Budget.
Commercial Activities
- Complete due diligence and wider modelling tasks to support M&A activity
- Fully integrate new acquisitions into our wider finance and operational teams.
- Develop and implement commercial frameworks and tools to underpin the growth of the business and allow it to meet the strategic growth opportunities.
- Collaborate in developing corporate strategy and annual business plans to ensure that we attain the financial objectives as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible.
- Provide high-quality commercial analysis and business insight, including customer & product profitability, project performance, pricing, margin control and return-on-investment analyses.
PROFILE
- Track record of leading finance teams within high growth companies: either as a number one or a seasoned number two of a growth PE business who is keen to step up.
- Experience within IT Services (Professional Services) is ideal
- Evidence of shaping a finance function in a fast-paced industry with a high level of change and dynamism.
- Fluent English is essential
