Role Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides strategic, operational, and financial leadership across the enterprise, overseeing all aspects of finance including accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, compliance, and capital strategy. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will partner closely with the CEO and Board to drive financial performance, support scalable growth, and ensure strong governance across a complex, global organization.
This role requires deep expertise in enterprise SaaS and/or payments/banking environments, including recurring revenue models, transaction-based economics, regulatory frameworks, and high-growth scaling strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Partner with the CEO and Board to define and execute long-term financial strategy
- Serve as a trusted advisor on strategic initiatives including M&A and capital allocation
- Evaluate business opportunities through financial modeling and ROI analysis
- Drive enterprise-wide performance management
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Develop KPIs such as ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, churn, and margins
- Deliver executive insights and improve profitability and cash flow
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Oversee accounting operations and financial close
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards
- Lead audits and strengthen internal controls
Treasury & Capital Management
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital structure
- Oversee banking relationships and payment flows
- Monitor financial risks including FX and interest rates
Risk, Compliance & Governance
- Establish enterprise risk frameworks
- Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, SOX, AML/KYC
- Maintain strong governance and audit readiness
Operational Finance
- Drive pricing strategy and unit economics
- Oversee payment processing and reconciliation
- Lead finance systems and automation
Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team
- Foster collaboration and accountability
Qualifications
- 15 to 20+ years of finance leadership experience
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, or banking
- Strong FP&A, accounting, and treasury expertise
- Experience in regulated environments
- MBA/CPA preferred
