Prospera Executive has been instructed on a CFO search for a profitable, PE-backed vertical SaaS platform serving a regulated market.
The CFO will report directly to the CEO and act as a true strategic partner, professionalising the finance function, embedding SaaS reporting discipline, and supporting bolt-on M&A within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as strategic partner to the CEO, providing financial clarity, commercial insight, and disciplined decision support across growth initiatives.
- Institutionalise monthly close, board reporting, and SaaS KPI dashboards..
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, liquidity management, and multi-year scenario modelling aligned to a 3–5 year value creation plan.
- Own pricing analytics and contract economics across enterprise insurance clients.
- Support bolt-on M&A, including financial modelling, diligence, integration planning, and capital structuring.
- Build and scale the internal finance function over time, initially operating in a highly hands-on capacity.
- Ensure robust compliance in a regulated industry
Ideal Candidate
- Proven senior finance leader within profitable B2B SaaS, ideally in insurtech, fintech, or another regulated vertical.
- Strong command of SaaS economics: ARR growth, NRR, margin analytics, cohort analysis, and cash forecasting.
- Experience operating in PE-backed environments with board and investor exposure.
- Comfortable stepping into a lean sub $50m ARR business.
- Experience supporting M&A transactions and integrating bolt-on acquisitions.
