Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Flexible / Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute financial strategies that align with our client's global growth objectives.
- Lead the management of all fiscal activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment strategies, to support the company’s goals.
- Provide leadership and direction to our client's finance and accounting team, ensuring the organization’s financial health and compliance with international financial standards.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and other key stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations on financial planning, liquidity management, and investment opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as banks, investors, and financial institutions, to secure funding and manage financial risks.
- Oversee the financial reporting and analysis process, ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and timely delivery of financial statements and performance metrics.
- Drive the improvement of financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and support the company’s scaling efforts.
- Ensure adherence to international financial laws, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or in a similar leadership role within finance.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; an MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
- Deep understanding of financial strategies and principles, with a global perspective.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team remotely.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, evidenced by a track record of improving financial performance and driving growth.
- Experience in fundraising, investment management, and stakeholder relations.
- Proficient in financial software and systems, with a keen ability to adapt to new technologies.
