Wenham Carter has been retained on a confidential search for an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead a fast-growing, UK technology organisation through its next phase of strategic scale, innovation, and market expansion (both in the UK & internationally).

The Opportunity

As CEO, you will define and articulate the company’s vision, mission, and long-term strategy, setting a culture that empowers people, unlocks innovation, and attracts top-tier talent. You’ll work closely with shareholders and the leadership team to drive sustainable performance, operational excellence, and commercial momentum.


You'll bring confidence, clarity, and strategic discipline; aligning teams behind a unified direction and taking the organisation on a growth journey. Externally, you’ll represent the company to partners, clients, and the wider market, building alliances and identifying new avenues for expansion.


What You’ll Lead

  • Setting strategic vision and aligning the business around it
  • Translating shareholder priorities into actionable commercial strategy
  • Building, scaling and inspiring a high-performing leadership team
  • Full P&L ownership and long-term value creation
  • Identifying new markets, shaping propositions and driving revenue growth
  • Leading complex client and partner negotiations
  • Acting as an ambassador for the company’s values, culture, and mission

Who We’re Looking For

  • A proven senior leader from the technology sector ideally with experience in engineering, digital services, or consultancy models
  • Someone who has successfully scaled a business beyond ~100 people / ~£15M revenue
  • A confident strategist with strong commercial acumen and P&L ownership
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, client engagement, and partnership building
  • Comfortable leading in regulated, complex environments
  • An authentic, people-centred leader who builds inclusive, high-performance cultures
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: resilient, decisive, collaborative and mission-driven CEO role
