Quotacom are seeking an innovative and seasoned Chief AI Officer to lead our clients Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives and drive transformative growth. The Opportunity: As the Chief AI Officer, you will be a strategic visionary, responsible for defining and executing the group-wide AI strategy. You will lead all Artificial Intelligence research, engineering, and product management efforts, with a clear focus on generating significant revenue and setting industry standards through technological innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, document, and present a comprehensive group-wide Artificial Intelligence Strategy, ensuring alignment across all business units.
- Lead and operationalise internal AI groups, embedding them into corporate processes to drive the successful execution of the AI strategy.
- Oversee the definition and deployment of production AI infrastructure.
- Lead the creation and launch of innovative AI services and products, and driving market adoption.
- Redesign and lead change management for software development and product management units to enhance strategic focus and delivery capabilities.
- Build, mentor, and grow high-performing data and AI engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Advise on all aspects of AI, including model-to-use case matching, ML infrastructure, data science team structure, and legal considerations.
- Represent the company's AI vision and strategy to customers, and partners.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- AI/ML Technology & Strategy Leadership: Deep expertise in AI product and strategy management, with a strong understanding of how to leverage AI to drive business success.
- Deep Learning Architectures: Project and product expertise with various deep learning architectures, including CNN, RNN, Transformer (Bert, decoder-only, GPT), seq2seq, and autoencoder.
- Generative AI & LLMs: Strategy and project experience in creating GPT models (pretraining, finetuning, prompting/chains) and extensive experience creating dialog-based assistants for co-pilot use cases, RAG, etc..
- Multimodal Models: Experience with multimodal models for document understanding.
- Data & MLOps: Experience with training data corpus creation (annotation projects, creating teams and departments) and setting up data science and ML Ops teams.
- Product Leadership: Proven ability to lead product organizations, deliver major releases, and drive product innovation.
- Enterprise Software/Cloud Experience: Extensive experience within enterprise software, cloud CRM, or accounting software environments.
- Strategic & Financial Impact: Demonstrated ability to increase revenue, and improve profitability through AI initiatives.
- Team Building & Leadership: A track record of building and running successful AI teams, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
- Communication & Evangelism: Strong ability to evangelise AI within and outside the organisation, influencing stakeholders and representing the company's vision.
- Education: A Master's degree (Dipl. Inf. Information Technology or equivalent) is preferred.
