We are seeking a Business Process Analyst to assist with Human Resources enterprise processes within Talent Management and Recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders across the institution to understand business needs, process pain points and capture detailed requirements.
- Process Documentation: Map and document current-state HR processes and use cases, including recruitment, onboarding, and learning management workflows.
- Gap Analysis: Identify process inefficiencies and gaps between current practices and desired outcomes.
- Solution Design Collaboration: Partner with technical teams to propose and validate solutions that align with institutional goals.
- Future-State Development: Define and document optimized future-state processes and workflows.
- Project Support: Contribute to HR technology initiatives, including:
- Workday Recruiting & Hiring Experience Initiative – streamline application and hiring processes.
- Workday New Hire Onboarding – enhance onboarding workflows for new employees.
- Learning Management Governance – clarify roles, responsibilities, and governance structure for learning systems.
- Employee Separation – redesign employee separation processes and enable university-wide exit feedback.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong background in requirements gathering, use cases, process mapping, and documentation.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Background in HR enterprise process design, preferably in Talent Management and Recruitment.
- Experience in higher education or large institutional environments.
- Experience with Workday Recruiting and Onboarding
- Experience with Learning Management systems
- Experience documenting user stories and using a scrum/agile approach to project management
