Position Summary

The Business Development Partner supports Sciton customers in driving practice growth, product adoption, and revenue through strategic marketing, training, and account management. This fully remote role partners with Sales, Product, and Clinical teams to deliver education, implement marketing initiatives, and execute practice growth strategies that increase consumable and subscription sales. The role reports to the Strategic Initiative & Business Development Manager and requires occasional travel within North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Educate and support customers on marketing strategies, including website and microsite development, PPC/SEO, office branding, launch events, and product announcements.
  • Achieve account revenue quotas in the assigned territory by identifying physician needs and collaborating with Area Sales and Product Managers to drive sales of consumables and subscriptions.
  • Provide ongoing client training on sales, phone skills, consultations, and goal-setting.
  • Plan and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual practice reviews with physicians and staff to strategize and grow their practices.
  • Research and analyze competitive products, pricing, and market trends.
  • Educate customers on all Sciton products, including Halo, diVa, and Moxi.
  • Perform market research, investigation, and due diligence to inform business strategies.
  • Interface with multiple clients, delivering presentations and training both in person and via Zoom.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers on product development initiatives.
  • Plan and implement strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
  • Support Sales, Service, Clinical, and Support teams both pre- and post-sale.
  • Represent Sciton at open houses, launch events, symposiums, and tradeshows as needed.


Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or science preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing and consumables sales preferred.
  • Prior experience with digital marketing is a plus, but not required.
  • Proficient with Google Drive and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage and adhere to T&E budgets as directed by leadership.
  • Enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and building strong customer relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop customer loyalty and influence outcomes.
  • Ability to develop and implement business strategies that ensure customer success.
  • Active listener with the ability to ask insightful questions and understand client needs.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning and time management skills to maximize customer contact and deliver high-quality service.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and business needs.


Benefits/Compensation:

The base salary for this position is $95k CAD, plus performance-based variable compensation and eligibility for profit-sharing programs. In addition, Sciton offers opportunities to participate in equity or stock incentive programs, and a comprehensive benefits package.
