We are seeking high pedigree a commercial individual with a strong local market knowledge who thrives in a business development role. We seek profiles who possess a strong ‘hunting’ mentality to be responsible for driving new business and growing the client base.
Responsibilities
- Achieve new and grow existing business
- Maintain and manage your accounts on a daily basis
- Set weekly meetings with customers, gain and retain
- Preparing ad-hoc, long-term offers to customers, following up
- Good relationship with ocean carriers is an advantage
- Working towards a set sales target per KPI’s on monthly/yearly basis
- Working closely with and reporting to the Sales Manager Benelux
What We Are Looking For:
- Minimum 2-3years of experience in a similar sales position at a freight forwarder, ambitious and willing to learn
- Customer friendly, hunter, quick learner and self-starter with a consultative, solution selling approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch, English
- Outgoing personality; high energy; flexible; strong mentality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Focused and goal-oriented
- Great attitude and desire to work hard while having fun!
