JBAndrews is working with a leading logistics integrator and the logistics partner to many highly recognisable international brands. With 30 offices throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, China, and Europe the company offers progressive & efficient solutions for moving freight by land, sea, and air.


We are seeking high pedigree a commercial individual with a strong local market knowledge who thrives in a business development role. We seek profiles who possess a strong ‘hunting’ mentality to be responsible for driving new business and growing the client base.


Responsibilities

  • Achieve new and grow existing business
  • Maintain and manage your accounts on a daily basis
  • Set weekly meetings with customers, gain and retain
  • Preparing ad-hoc, long-term offers to customers, following up
  • Good relationship with ocean carriers is an advantage
  • Working towards a set sales target per KPI’s on monthly/yearly basis
  • Working closely with and reporting to the Sales Manager Benelux


What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum 2-3years of experience in a similar sales position at a freight forwarder, ambitious and willing to learn
  • Customer friendly, hunter, quick learner and self-starter with a consultative, solution selling approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch, English
  • Outgoing personality; high energy; flexible; strong mentality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Great attitude and desire to work hard while having fun!
