At Permavoid, we design and deliver nature-based solutions for sustainable water management in cities. Our systems support healthier, more resilient urban environments—from urban trees and blue-green roofs to podium decks, sports pitches, gardens, and fully integrated Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
We are now looking for a commercially sharp, results-driven Sales Manager to turn technically developed solutions into profitable, scalable contracts across Europe, with a focus on the Netherlands and Belgium.
The Role
This is a target-led, revenue-focused position responsible for closing high-value deals, protecting margin, and driving disciplined sales execution.
Working in close partnership with our Solution Consultant (Urban Water Management), you will lead commercial negotiations, manage complex sales cycles, and secure long-term agreements with public and private sector stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Revenue & Growth
- Own revenue, order intake, and gross margin across assigned territories
- Convert solution-led opportunities into profitable contracts
- Negotiate pricing and commercial structures to maximise profitability
- Maintain margin discipline while remaining competitive in tenders
- Make strategic bid / no-bid decisions
Lead Commercial Deals
- Lead commercial negotiations with:
- Local authorities
- Government bodies
- Infrastructure agencies
- Developers & contractors
- Structure complex, multi-party agreements
- Secure framework agreements and long-term contracts
- Manage commercial risk (terms, payments, performance)
Own Pipeline & Forecasting
- Maintain a structured, high-quality sales pipeline
- Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts
- Lead on Pipeline reviews, Deal strategy sessions, Conversion tracking
- Track KPIs (pipeline coverage, revenue, margin, forecast accuracy)
- Ensure strong CRM discipline
Develop the Market (NL & BE Focus)
- Identify growth opportunities and funding programmes
- Build strategic relationships in priority markets
- Navigate local regulations and procurement frameworks
- Position Permavoid strongly in public tenders
Manage Stakeholders
- Build trusted relationships with decision-makers and influencers
- Balance assertive negotiation with long-term partnership value
- Align commercial commitments with operational delivery
- Proactively manage risks and protect reputation
Collaborate Cross-Functionally
- Partner with the Solution Consultant to:
- Shape commercially viable solutions
- Align pricing with technical value
- Develop winning propositions
- Ensure seamless transition from concept to contract
- Feed market insight back into solution development
About You
Experience
- Experience within Infrastructure, Construction, Water Management or Civil Engineering Solutions is beneficial, however not essential to be considered for the role.
- Proven success closing high-value, complex deals in NL & BE
- Experience working with the public sector (beneficial) and tender processes
- Track record of delivering profitable growth (not just volume)
