Business Development Manager - Emergency Lighting – Netherlands

We work closely with our customers to develop tailored solutions that meet their specific needs, including fully customized products when required.
Your responsibilities:
- Proactively identify new prospects and projects for emergency lighting.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with end customers.
- Collaborate with internal departments to develop comprehensive solutions that integrate emergency lighting, control systems, and services into energy-efficient, aesthetic, and ergonomic packages.
- Present and promote the value of these solutions to customers and manage the sales process through to delivery, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with internal sales and management teams to provide excellent service throughout the customer journey.
- Report on project progress to sales management and participate in sales meetings and customer events.
Requirements:
- Higher professional education (HBO) level and experience or strong interest in project-based sales, preferably in emergency lighting.
- Strong customer orientation, dynamic and results-driven; committed to achieving customer satisfaction and sales targets.
- Natural relationship builder with a commercial mindset and a keen interest in technology.
- Willingness to learn the emergency lighting industry in depth.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to clearly track and communicate project status.
- Based primarily in the Randstad region (Rotterdam – The Hague – Amsterdam – Utrecht).
