Soar Music Group is looking to expand our Business Development team! With the Artist & Label Relations role you will be responsible for reaching out to music artists, managers, labels and music companies in order to grow and expand the business activities! This is a great BD / Business Development role that combines A&R with sales. This is a commission based freelance role with an attractive bonus structure.
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should not be afraid to hop on a call with prospects and be pro-active in reaching out to new artists or record label clients.
Responsibilities
- Identify partnership opportunities
- Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand
- Creating deals and projects with artists, managers, distributors and record labels
- Maintain existing business
- Think critically when planning to assure project success
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2 - 3 years prior music industry related business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
- Pro-active, engaging and understanding the music industry
- Not afraid to reach out via email, whatsapp or make a phone call
