Korn Ferry is delighted to partner with Clinigen, as they embark on a large-scale programme of global growth.


We are looking to recruit a Global Business Development Director to support Clinigen corporate accounts growth within EMEA.


As a Business Director, you’ll, identify, develop, lead and manage relationships with strategic Clinigen Global Corporate Accounts across Switzerland, EMEA, and further afield.


By developing and implementing global account strategies, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with Corporate Account Senior Executives, you’ll identify and lead business growth to ensure the delivery of tailored solutions. In collaboration with business units across multiple Business Development teams, you will oversee the Corporate Account lifecycle, from initial engagement through contract negotiation, project implementation, and ongoing customer support.


How you’ll add value:


  • Develop and execute Global Corporate account strategy and plans to drive long-term growth and profitability, acting as the main point of contact.
  • Identify and lead cross unit business growth ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions to clients to meet their business needs and generate new business across Clinigen’s BU’s.
  • Represent Clinigen in high-level negotiations and presentations with Senior Leadership of Corporate Account.
  • Lead the development and implementation of global sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for assigned Corporate Accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key Executive Decision Makers.
  • Review, Report and communicate on Global Corporate Account progress, and client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with multiple business Functions to ensure seamless and successful delivery of services and solutions to clients, across different geographies.
  • Work collaboratively with Strategic Business Intelligence group to keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions and competitive environment to provide insights and strategic recommendations for evolving client business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing their concerns, anticipating their needs, and delivering tailored solutions.


About you:


  • Degree educated in Business, Marketing, Sales.
  • Extensive experience in pharmaceutical industry Global Corporate Account Management with a proven track record in handling major corporate accounts.
  • Thorough understanding and background in sales and Business Development principles including Unlicensing and Licensing agreements.
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of global business operations, including international supply chain.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industry.
  • An understanding of international markets, cultures, and business practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Knowledge of reporting tools.
  • Fluency in English.
