As we expand our footprint, we are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Associate to join our team and help drive growth in our full suite of digital accessibility solutions.


Position Overview

The Business Development Associate is an entry-level position designed to support the sales department through a combination of business development activities, sales administration tasks, and general sales assistance. You will work closely with senior members of the sales team, helping identify new opportunities, supporting client engagements, and ensuring smooth execution of sales processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within a fast-paced technology environment.


Please note that this position will earn base salary + commission.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities
  • Conduct research on prospective clients, market segments, and industry trends
  • Support the preparation of sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
  • Help maintain accurate CRM records, updating client details, interactions, and pipeline activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings and coordinating follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of software and service solutions.
  • Represent the GrackleDocs brand professionally across communication channels, including social media as appropriate.
  • Prepare routine sales reports and summaries as required.
  • Manage annual software renewals
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to independently manage/create tasks.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and administrative abilities.
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems; familiarity with ERP is an asset.
  • Enthusiasm for technology, accessibility, and supporting customer-focused solutions.
