We are looking for a proactive and relationship-driven Business Developer to help expand Envar Studio’s client base and build strong, lasting partnerships within the gaming industry.
This role is focused on long-term growth. We are looking for someone who is not only excited to drive new business opportunities, but also interested in growing with the studio over time and becoming a stable, trusted part of Envar’s journey.
You will take ownership of identifying opportunities, opening doors, developing tailored pitches, and representing Envar externally across the industry. You will work closely with leadership and production teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to delivery, while helping create a strong and professional client experience throughout the full partnership lifecycle.
A big part of the role also happens outside meeting rooms, from conferences and networking events to the more informal side of the industry, like social gatherings and after parties, where some of the best connections tend to happen.
This role is a strong fit for someone who understands the game development landscape, brings a solid industry network or the ability to build one quickly, and can balance relationship-building with structure, follow-through, and high-quality execution.
- Identify, approach, and develop new client opportunities through a range of outbound business development channels
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform outreach strategy and prepare tailored proposals
- Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with prospective and existing clients by understanding their needs, goals, and challenges
- Represent Envar at industry events, studio visits, business meetings, and conferences both virtually and in person, as well as the more informal side of the industry, including networking mixers and after parties where relationships often continue to grow
- Prepare project estimates, sales materials, and pitches aligned with Envar’s service offering and cost structure
- Maintain a clean, accurate, and up-to-date sales pipeline within the CRM system
- Work closely with production teams to ensure timely, efficient, and well-documented handovers
- Adapt to established workflows while maintaining clear communication across all relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Act as a consistent and professional representative of Envar’s brand, values, and quality standards in all client-facing interactions
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a Business Developer role within the video game industry
- Good understanding of the art production pipeline for video games
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to professionally represent Envar’s brand and values
- Strong research, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and maintain a high standard of execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- An existing network in the games industry, or clear ability to build and develop one effectively
- Availability and readiness to travel internationally for industry events and meetings when needed, sometimes on short notice
- Willingness to occasionally work outside standard hours and balance this with flex time
- Interest in a long-term collaboration, with the intention to commit and grow alongside the studio
- Experience within the AA and/or AAA games market
- Previous experience attending, networking at, or representing a studio at game industry events
- Professional working proficiency in languages other than English
- Openness to the possibility of relocation in the future, depending on role and business needs
- A genuine passion for games and the game development industry
At Envar, you will have real ownership, trust, and the chance to play a meaningful role in how the studio grows. You will work closely with talented teams, represent the studio across the global games industry, and help build long-term partnerships that lead to exciting creative work.
We are looking for someone who wants to make a real impact and stay for the long run, someone who values autonomy, responsibility, and being part of building something lasting.
