Role & Responsibilities
Your role and responsibilities include:
- Member of the Management Team of Waalwijk.
- Planning & Control cycle of Waalwijk, which includes long term plan, budget, latest view and month-end reporting. Understanding and explaining the story behind the numbers is key.
- Preparing and analyze monthly results and present the outcome to local, regional and global management.
- Participate in business improvement projects with a strong focus on productivity, cost reduction and materializing commercial opportunities.
- Extensive analysis of financial and operational data for determining past financial performance and to identify risks & opportunities.
- Participation in commercial cycles of Waalwijk relating to indexation, scope extensions, renewals, etc.
- Review, approval, support and tracking of spend of all capital expenditures that relate to assigned location.
- You are member of an energetic Management Team with a consistent drive to develop business opportunities, to discover and implement new technologies and to explore new initiatives
- You will interact with multiple stakeholders in the organization, both locally and globally;
- You want to keep pace with the digital world while working with multiple enhanced applications like SAP, BPC, Microsoft Office, Kronos, Qlik, AFAS, etc.
- Bachelor degree in Finance or Economics.
- 6-10 years relevant working experience as Business Controller and member of Management Team in a preferably multinational environment.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience in SAP, BPC and Qlik would be advantageous.
- Experience with IFRS.
- Fluent in English (and preferably also in Dutch), communicates effectively.
