Role Overview

The Logistics & Supply Chain Business Architect is the domain leader for opportunistic vertical expansion into manufacturing, distribution, and logistics. This role builds the business case for supply chain AI automation, defines accelerators (for example – DemandSense Agent, MaintainAI Suite, SupplyVision Agent, QualityGuard AI, ScheduleBot Agent), and establishes credibility with logistics and manufacturing enterprises.


Position Specifications

  • Compensation: Competitive base + performance-based incentives
  • Location: US Remote (proximity to major logistics hubs preferred: Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Memphis)
  • Equity: Stock options / equity participation


Key Responsibilities

  • Define the logistics and supply chain solution roadmap covering demand forecasting, predictive maintenance, supply chain visibility, quality control, and production scheduling.
  • Design industry accelerators targeting $100K–$275K ACV per use case.
  • Lead the entry strategy for the logistics vertical: identify 3–5 pilot customers, develop outcome guarantees, and build reference cases.
  • Establish technology partnerships with vendors such as SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or Blue Yonder for ERP/SCM integration.
  • Develop vertical-specific content and conference presence strategy (Gartner Supply Chain, MODEX, ProMat).
  • Advise on competitive positioning against CMMS and Asset Maintenance & Management vendors.


Required Qualifications

  • 10–15+ years of supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing operations experience.
  • Deep understanding of demand planning, S&OP, warehouse management, transportation management, and manufacturing execution systems.
  • Experience with major CMMS, ERP/SCM platforms (SAP SCM, Oracle SCM Cloud, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder).
  • Previous roles at a supply chain consultancy (McKinsey Operations, Deloitte Supply Chain, Kearney) or as a senior operations/technology professional at a logistics or manufacturing company.
  • Experience evaluating or implementing AI/ML solutions for demand forecasting, predictive maintenance, or supply chain optimization.
  • Proven ability to translate complex operational workflows into technology solution architectures.


Educational Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Engineering, Engineering Management, Industrial Production, or Supply Chain preferred).
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident due to financial services compliance requirements.
