Job Title: Business Analyst – Asset Management Platform Build (Remote Contract)

About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst to support the design and delivery of a new Asset Management Platform. This is a critical project aimed at modernizing and streamlining asset management operations. The ideal candidate will have experience gathering requirements for complex platform builds, working closely with technical teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements for the Asset Management Platform.
- Document functional specifications, workflows, and integration points.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and interviews to capture detailed business processes.
- Support data migration planning, validation, and testing activities.
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintain a clear backlog.
- Assist in UAT planning and execution, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Provide ongoing communication and status updates to project stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in platform build projects (preferably in Asset Management or financial services).
- Strong understanding of investment operations, portfolio management, and data flows.
- Familiarity with JIRA for backlog management and workflow tracking.
- Excellent documentation skills and ability to create clear process maps.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
