Project Overview
For a complex transformation initiative within a large and heterogeneous IT system landscape (20+ applications) in the transport and logistics domain, we are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst.
The focus lies on analyzing and optimizing business processes in the TAF-TSI context, developing future-state concepts, and supporting implementation within an agile delivery environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyze current-state business processes across a complex application landscape and identify optimization potentials and gaps.
- Develop target-state concepts and derive solution scenarios to transition from current to target architecture.
- Evaluate and present solution options to stakeholders and top management.
- Organize, prepare, and facilitate workshops with German-speaking business units (including follow-up documentation).
- Gather, structure, and coordinate stakeholder input to ensure transparency and timely decision-making.
- Define, document, and refine features and user stories (in German) with clear wording and optimal granularity.
- Perform functional clarification to ensure development readiness.
- Support agile processes including backlog refinement, estimation, and KPI tracking.
- Model business processes using BPMN (e.g., Camunda) ensuring consistency within the TAF-TSI framework.
- Identify and document process improvements and best practices to support organizational development.
- Act as a sparring partner for process owners and project stakeholders.
- Support change management initiatives related to process and organizational transformation.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment between business, development, testing, and operations teams.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT system landscapes within the transport and logistics domain.
- Minimum 5 years of experience analyzing highly complex business processes in the TAF-TSI context.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in agile workflows within German-speaking project teams.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in agile software development projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BPMN modeling and process modeling tools (e.g., Camunda).
- German language proficiency at C1/C2 level (written and spoken).
Additional (Target) Requirements
- Proven experience presenting complex and strategic topics to top management (5+ years).
- Strong moderation skills for large and potentially conflict-prone workshops (5+ years).
- Excellent knowledge of agile project management methods (3+ years).
- Experience developing innovative business case models without market references (5+ years).
- Extensive experience independently leading complex consulting projects in process and organizational domains within transport & logistics (5+ years).
