Role Summary
We’re looking for a Germany-based Brand Manager (EU) to support and grow the Bearaby brand across Europe, with a focus on brand and retail relationships, PR, and local execution of global marketing initiatives for Bearaby.eu.
This role sits at the intersection of brand, retail, PR, and operations for Europe. You’ll be Bearaby’s key brand steward in the EU, ensuring global brand strategy is executed locally with relevance, consistency, and strong operational alignment.
You’ll work closely with the global marketing team to activate campaigns locally, adapt messaging for EU audiences, and ensure Bearaby shows up cohesively across all European touchpoints.
Duties and Responsibilities
PR & Communications
- Support on EU PR efforts, including agency and inbound request management
- Identify and manage press opportunities, product placements, reviews, and brand features
- Support product launches and seasonal moments with localized PR execution
- Ensure consistent brand voice across press materials and external communications
- Support influencer gifting and relationship management
Retail & Wholesale Management
- Own and manage EU retail and wholesale opportunities (existing and new)
- Act as the primary point of contact for European retail partners
- Support retail launches, seasonal initiatives and in-store messaging
Local Marketing Activation & Brand Alignment
- Partner closely with the global marketing team to execute and localize global campaigns across EU markets
- Adapt global messaging, promotions, and product launches for cultural and regional relevance
- Ensure Bearaby’s brand voice, positioning, and visual identity are consistently represented on Bearaby.eu
- Coordinate local activations, partnerships, and moments that support global marketing priorities
- Share EU market insights, customer feedback, and performance learnings with the broader marketing team
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the wider marketing, e-commerce, operations, and customer experience teams
- Act as the primary “EU brand contact” internally
- Support European market expansion initiatives as Bearaby grows

- You come from a PR agency where you worked with up and coming brands or you have experience in start-ups or DTC brands
- You are the first to spot the trend (you know what’s trending online and offline)
- You are a wellness aficionado (you love a good weighted blanket, and you know the best spots for Yoga and breathwork)
- You’re energized by bringing global ideas to life locally
- You naturally act as a connector between teams, partners, and markets
- You’re equally comfortable talking to retail partners, PR contacts, and marketers
- You’re detail-oriented and operationally minded, but you never lose sight of the bigger brand picture
- You have strong instincts for what will resonate with EU customers, and you know when (and how) to adapt messaging thoughtfully
- You’re proactive, organized, and calm under pressure, especially when timelines, launches, or inventory get tight
- You communicate clearly and confidently in German and English, across written, verbal, and cross-cultural contexts
- You enjoy working independently but thrive in close collaboration with a remote, global team
- You’re excited by the idea of helping grow a mission-driven brand in Europe and taking real ownership of its success
- You’re comfortable with working in G Suite, monday.com, and Slack
- Adaptable, flexible and resilient, with excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or communications (think PR or performance agency, DTC and challenger brands).
- Experience working with retail or wholesale partners (consumer goods, wellness, lifestyle, or fashion preferred)
- Strong understanding of brand execution, PR, and localized marketing
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
- Based in Germany, with ability to support broader EU markets
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working cross-functionally
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to develop strategies based on customer data and insights.
- Brand Alignment: Passion for sustainability, wellness, and the mission behind Bearaby. A deep understanding of how to communicate purpose-driven brands authentically.
