Merchmix is a retail operating system that connects planning, inventory, allocation, supplier workflows, and execution in one platform. We help retailers replace disconnected systems and spreadsheet-heavy workflows with one connected way of working. We're founder-led, growing fast, and working with retail brands across Australia, the US, and Europe.

We're looking for a versatile Brand & Marketing Designer who can take a brief or a rough direction and turn it into finished, on-brand work without needing to be art-directed through every step. You'll produce the design work behind our marketing, working to briefs and direction from our marketing lead.

What you'll work on:

  • Campaign landing pages and web assets, designed with conversion in mind
  • Event and marketing collateral: booth cards, banners, roll-ups, one-pagers, brochures
  • Sales and pitch decks that are clear, credible, and on-brand
  • Social and digital ad creative across formats and channels
  • Turning technical product features into clear, simple visuals: diagrams, explainers, infographics
  • Print-ready and production-ready files, with formats, sizes, and safe zones handled correctly

What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years in brand, marketing, or digital design
  • A portfolio showing strong visual taste, system thinking, and finished campaign work
  • Fluent in Figma, comfortable across the wider toolkit
  • A sharp eye for typography, layout, and detail
  • Comfortable using AI tools in your creative process
  • At ease in a fast-moving environment where priorities change
  • Able to work independently from a brief across two focused days a week

How we work: we're a friendly, remote team that moves quickly. You'll get clear briefs, fast feedback, and a direct line to the people you're designing for. We set the direction and priorities, and we trust your judgement on the craft.

Process: portfolio review first, then a short call, then a small paid test brief so we can see how you work.

Ongoing retainer, 2 days per week, fully remote
