About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in bookkeeping and a solid understanding of accounting principles. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing our financial records. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining precise financial documentation, processing transactions, and supporting budgeting and reporting activities. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in accounting or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records for the company
  • Process and record all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank deposits
  • Prepare and send invoices to clients and ensure timely payments
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly to ensure accuracy
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  • Prepare financial reports and analyses as needed for management review
  • Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing, payments, and account inquiries
  • Assist with tax preparation and filing processes to ensure compliance
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures
