About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our team at Plexcity. This role is pivotal in maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting operations, and supporting our financial health. As a Bookkeeper, you will process invoices, reconcile bank statements, record transactions, and prepare essential financial reports. The position offers the flexibility of remote work while providing a competitive hourly rate of $25. You will collaborate with team members and clients, providing insights and updates that contribute to strategic decision-making. Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant post-secondary education preferred
  • Experience with financial reporting and reconciliation processes

Responsibilities

  • Process and record invoices, payments, and expenses accurately
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a regular basis
  • Maintain and update financial records in accounting software
  • Prepare and distribute financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to resolve financial discrepancies
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
  • Assist with year-end closing and audit preparations
  • Support ongoing financial analysis and strategic planning efforts
